Growing up on the west coast of New Zealand meant playing outside until the light began to fade, beach activities and tip top rolled ice creams in the summer, Christmas camping adventures, family snow trips in the winter, arts, crafts and a love of eating which of course lead to a passion for cooking. Mallory left New Zealand at 18 and spent the best part of 10 years travelling, creating wonderful memories and eating some of the best foods from around the world. This was the beginning of her passion for health and wellbeing in a holistic way. She enjoys continually learning about how to live a healthy, nutritious, sustainable lifestyle. Having done a paper on Nutrition Psychology; food choices and eating habits meant pursuing a qualification in Nutrition and Health Coaching for personal growth and development.
It’s no surprise that Margaret River quickly became one of her favourite places and cementing her fate was being introduced to her partner (Margaret River born and raised) through friends on a weekend trip to Kalbarri. Now calling Margaret River home the final piece in the puzzle was joining the team at Margaret River Health Centre as the Practice Manager. With her love of organising and number crunching as well as getting to meet a whole bunch of different people this is the perfect role for her. She also feels extremely privileged to spend her days surrounded by wonderful colleagues who all share a passion for a happy, healthy, pain free holistic lifestyle.
