Gaynor Gardiner-Sherwood

Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor

Gaynor grew up in Perth, always at the beach and later a keen netballer. She studied Physiotherapy at Curtin University in WA. The search for some adventure took her to London for a few years and then onto Switzerland. Falling in love with beautiful lakes for water based fun, stunning mountains for all things skiing and fun in the snow plus hiking, then later hanging off a rock face brought much joy. So much that she stayed there for 14 years. In this time she set up her own successful private practice that was handed over to her longtime colleague and friend and is still running today. During this period Gaynor continued professional development through courses in Pilates, Kinetic control (evidence based muscle rehabilitation) an other movement based modalities.

Since returning to the beautiful Margaret River region she has completed a Dry Needling (Anatomical Acupuncture) course through AAP Education plus various manual therapy courses. Her main goal in physiotherapy is to help clients achieve their best function with the least pain and gain an understanding in the workings of their musculoskeletal system.

Gaynor still loves the outdoors, working on her bush property, walking in the forests or along the beaches, but gets the most pleasure from flat water SUPing, especially when the dolphins get up close and personal.
